Where laying the pipes isn’t just a euphemism for sex...
Joe used to be one of the hunkiest stars of daytime television working on the number one rated soap opera on the air... Until he was banished from set and later fired for an off-screen incident involving one of his co-stars.
Struggling to land a role in any daytime soap opera, thanks in part to the ineptitude of his sincere but bumbling agent and part-time hardware store manager, Dusty, Joe has no choice but to return to his previous line of duty -- plumbing.
In dire need of making some cash to pay his rent, Joe sees no other option other than returning to the normal everyday world of plumbing and holds out hope that his acting career won’t be stuck in the dumps forever as he goes back to a less than lucrative career.
As Joe awaits his next big break he soon finds out that all the murder, pregnancy, long lost sibling and betrayal storylines that were a part of his acting life don’t differ as much in his real life as he’d like them to.
No matter how absurd the stories were on the soap opera he worked on, they’ve got nothing on the crazy-but-real life situations he finds himself in as he goes from plumbing job to plumbing job.
Joe soon finds it hard to distinguish his real world from the soap world he was kicked out of and is once again thrust into a world full of sex, deceit, corruption and rapid aging children who may or may not be his... This is the Adventures of The Hunky Pipe-Fitter...
